Jenny Sampson earned a B.A. in Psychobiology in 1991 at Pitzer College and has since dedicated her time to her photographic endeavors: wet plate collodion, traditional black and white photography and commissioned portraits. When not in the field or the darkroom, she pursues another chemically-related talent by cooking professionally. Be it photography or the culinary arts, Jenny maintains an honest, nuanced style and free-spiritedness throughout it all. Jenny was born and raised in San Francisco and currently resides in Berkeley, California.

Please refer to the "about wet plate collodion" page to learn about the Wet Plate Collodion process historically and Jenny's process in particular.
